Rules & Conditions

To ensure the best possible experience, please follow these guidelines:

If possible, please submit a separate buylist for each game you wish to sell to us.
For faster service, cards must be sorted in the order provided in the approval email to ease the evaluation process. They may also remain in the order in which they were submitted, but this may result in delays. Lists received in any order other than the two mentioned above will be processed last or may be refused.
Cards must be submitted without sleeves. High-value cards may remain in a sleeve.
Buylists that have not been received or shipped within 14 days of their approval may be refused or require re-approval.
Please wait for the approval email before bringing your buylist to the store or shipping it. Buylists received prior to their approval will not be processed until the list has been approved.
Buylists submitted for a cash transaction must have a minimum value of $20 to be accepted.

Disclaimer

Le Coin du Jeu reserves the right to refuse or reconsider any buylist. Buy prices may be revised during the approval process. We also reserve the right to refuse a card if we determine it is too damaged for its value.

Buylist Process

Average total process time: 3 to 4 business days.

Delivery / Drop-off

Once your buylist is approved, you may deliver it to us in one of the following ways:

Bring it in person to any Le Coin du Jeu location.
Mail it to the following address:

Make sure to clearly identify your buylist with your name and buylist number. Le Coin du Jeu is not responsible for damage occurring during shipping; please secure your package in a way that will protect the cards. For higher-value lists, we recommend using a tracked shipping service at your own fees.

If you have submitted multiple buylists, you may ship them together in one package, but be sure to clearly identify each list with their own number.

Additional Information

Approval

Buylists are approved within 24 to 48 business hours of submission. If a buylist includes cards from a newly released set, this delay may extend from one to two weeks, until prices stabilize.

Evaluation

Buylists are processed within 24 to 48 business hours after arriving at a store location.

Payment Methods

You may choose your preferred payment method when submitting your buylist.

If you choose store credit, a 25% bonus is applied to the buy price (already applied in the buylist portal). Store credit will automatically be added to your customer account once the evaluation is complete.
If you choose cash payment, an Interac e-Transfer will be sent within 48 hours following the evaluation of your buylist. The password for the transfer will be "jeu".

High-End Cards

Some older editions produced in very limited quantities generate little recent sales data, making evaluation more complex. The displayed buy prices may therefore differ from current market value. Please email us at boutiquelecoindujeu@gmail.com or via our Facebook page so we can provide you with the most competitive offer possible.

Large Collections

If you wish to sell a large collection containing a large number of non-bulk cards, please contact us by email at boutiquelecoindujeu@gmail.com or via our Facebook page to schedule an appointment for collection evaluation.

Buylist Prices

Buylist prices may be revised during the approval process. We do not guarantee the price indicated at the time of submission. Prices shown at approval are for cards in Near Mint condition. Once we finish evaluating your buylist, you will receive the final buy price.

If you would like to receive a confirmation of the final amount before we finalize the transaction, please let us know at the time of delivery or drop-off so we can leave a note on your file. You may retrieve your collection at any time prior to the transaction being processed.

*For MTG cards graded MP, HP, or DMG, we only buy cards if their Near Mint (NM) variant value exceeds $25. Some exceptions may apply.

Condition

Please refer to our Card Condition Guide to understand how we evaluate card conditions.

Language

For cards in languages other than English, we only buy Magic: The Gathering cards, and only those valued at more than $25. These cards must not be submitted through the buylist system. Please contact us by email at boutiquelecoindujeu@gmail.com for more information.

Bulk

We only purchase bulk in person. Please contact us by phone before coming in to ensure we are able to receive the lot.

Bulk must be brought in boxes (if you wish to keep your boxes, we will transfer the cards into other boxes on-site). A bonus will be offered if your bulk is pre-sorted in any way.

We reserve the right to refuse any lot. We do not purchase tokens, Un-sets, or Conspiracy sets. The lot must not contain only Basic Lands. We also do not buy back Pokémon Energy cards.
